We’re pleased to announce the availability of ThinkFree Office Mobile for portable devices to original equipment manufacturers, original design manufacturers, telecommunication companies, and independent software vendors. As an integral part of the boundless documentation platform, this mobile edition extends the reach of ThinkFree’s productivity suite to the rapidly expanding mobile realm.

This edition provides users of UMPCs and other next generation mobile devices the ability to read, write, edit and organize documents, spreadsheets and presentations on their mobile devices using ThinkFree Write, Calc and Show. ThinkFree Mobile provides an intuitive and responsive user interface that is optimized for smaller screen sizes. Moreover, the finger touch-driven user interface provides refined control for viewing documents on any portable device. As a result of these new developments, ThinkFree Mobile unleashes mobile devices as truly effective editing tools.

The ThinkFree Mobile editor has two versions currently: lite editor and standard editor. The mobile lite editor provides slim-downed editing functions optimized for small screen size devices. In contrast, the standard editor delivers the full-featured ThinkFree Office and includes ThinkFree Manager which handles online and offline document synchronization.

The mobile viewer includes a simplified user interface that is designed especially for effective viewing on portable devices. Functions such as zoom, pan and full screen navigation are seamlessly integrated into ThinkFree Mobile Viewer.

ThinkFree Mobile will be compatible with Microsoft Office 97, 2000, XP, 2003 and 2007.

Dear ThinkFree users,

We’re very glad to let everyone know that we will be launching a new online service on April 7th, 2008. Listed below are some of the improved features compared with our previous online service.

1. Availability of editing documents online/offline for free using ThinkFree Office
Previously only a select number of people were allowed to use our ThinkFree Premium service. We will now open our new ThinkFree Manager service (previously known as ThinkFree Premium) to everyone for free. You will now be able to use our ThinkFree Office suite online/offline when you are creating or editing documents.

2. Hierarchical Documents Planning & 1GB Free Web Disk for Documents resource storage
An effective and easy way of organizing many documents through subfolders and tree hierarchy features.

3. A ‘Workspace’ to collaborate with other users
Be able to easily collaborate with people, share documents, and manage on-going projects through the ‘Workspace’.

4. Lightly the best, Web Word Processor “Note”
‘Quick Edit’ mode has been replaced with our new ‘Web Editor’ based on WYSIWYG-XHTML technology (WYSIWYG stands for What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get). This will allow you to edit documents without installing any other applications onto your machine.
“Note” also use the mashup technology for mergeing document with your multimedia contents  from Youtube, Flickr, and ……
