Want to keep up with all the latest documents published on Doc Exchange?
RSS feeds can now help you track the documents as they are submitted.
So, how do I use RSS feeds on Doc Exchange?
To subscribe to a RSS feed you will need two things, a RSS reader (also known as a news reader or aggregator) and the URL (web address) of the RSS feed you wish to subscribe to. Some commonly used news readers are FeedDemon, NewzCrawler, and Awasu for Windows. NetNewsWire, Newsfire, and Shrook can be used for Macs. For those who like web-based readers there’s Bloglines, My Yahoo!, and NewsGator.
Once you have a RSS reader installed, right-click (or control + click on Mac) the icon(
) on the upper right side of the Doc Exchange page and copy the URL. Then paste the URL into the reader as a new feed (your reader will have instructions on how to do this).
After subscribing, you will receive the list of the most recently updated documents as soon as they are posted on Doc Exchange, rather than having to visit the page every time you want to check for changes and additions.

Doc Exchange is completely changed!
You thought sharing and publishing files were all fun and games before? Check out how we made it better:
Cool Docs - What users rate as worth checking out
Hot Docs - the most downloaded files with the highest number of comments
New Docs - the latest documents hot off the presses
Our new rating system let you speak your mind about the documents you find compelling. Afraid of missing the latest document to be published? After laying off the coffee, set up an alert with our RSS service. Sort the Doc Exchange list by popularity, rating, date, publisher, filename, or number of views, copies or comment.
Creative Commons License Type
You can also publish files using a Creative Commons license.
Set up your default license type by clicking on your username next to the Welcome! button in the upper left hand corner of the Webtop. Within My Account preferences chose File License from the left hand menu. Creative Commons offers 6 different files types to chose from. Now, when you publish a file you can make sure that your intellectual property is safeguarded. And others can be sure that the way they use the document is the way you want.
**For more information check out this article or CreativeCommons.org.
Full Text Document Searches
Searching for the file you need is fast, easy, and precise.
With full keyword text searches we can search through your files as well as all published files faster than most searches you run from your desktop. With our Advanced Search functionality you can refine your search using file format, author, tags, date, and even Creative Commons license type.
Del.icio.us
We just added del.icio.us bookmarks as another cool feature to ThinkFree Online.
Share your favorite stories, research papers, agendas, schedules, and presentations with just a click of a button. You can also reference your del.icio.us bookmarks as simply as inserting a link into your word processing document.
