Mukesh,

I wanted to respond to your questions:
1. Users can only upload files after they have registered with our service, and must do so from the Webtop in My Office. If your friends have done this and are still having problems please let us know.
2. Sharing folders and files can get very complex. It becomes a question of whether the file or the folder wins the properties war. Right now we chose to let the file win. So, if you add a file to a folder the file retains its properties and does not assume the properties of the folder.
3. In the share user interface (after choosing a document and clicking the Share button) under "Invite New Person to share"
type the email address or choose from you contact list. Then choose whether they can read-only or co-author. Type any message you want and click "Send an invitation to share". You can repeat this for as many users as you wish to share with.

the product (or should i say service) seems fine but with a few problems i identified. I tried sharing a folder with my friends with complete access to them( read, edit, download, upload files in the folder). But
1. the upload option is disabled for the collaborators.
2. if i myself then upload new files in that 'shared folder' they are not automatically shared with other collaborators of that folder.
3. i can't share a file/folder with more than one person at a time. i can do the same in writley.

I really was going to sign up for Writely because my email account is with Gmail and I thought it would be better integrated, to much of my surprise a big multinational like Google still can't support the Opera browser and they tried to blackmail me into using a more unsecure browser to use their services.

I am now with you using Opera to edit documents and all works excellent, thank you!

I was so impressed with how TFO Online presented an MS Word document (retaining all the formatting), that I bought the offline version for even more power editing (I have a new MacBook).

The online TFO Write presented the document with *better* formatting than NeoOffice or Nisus Writer.

What I don't understand...is why the *offline* version I purchased, doesn't display the same MS Word document properly at all. I mean, it looks *really* bad. I bought the product about 2 weeks ago, immediately emailed product support with full details, and still haven't got a reply.

You guys do a great job with the online product and so I can only imagine that you do truly endeavor to build a good product.

Has anyone else experienced this oddity with the offline Write on a Mac? Perhaps there's a "look good" checkbox I need to set in preferences that is by default, turned off.
